🛡️ Player Protection
At actoto, we believe that gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment, not a source of financial hardship or emotional distress. We are committed to promoting responsible gaming practices and providing every member with the tools, resources, and support needed to maintain healthy gambling habits. This page outlines our responsible gaming philosophy, the protection tools available to you, warning signs of problem gambling, and how to seek help if you need it.
Our Philosophy
Responsible gaming is not a set of checkboxes we fulfill to meet regulatory requirements. It is a core value that shapes every aspect of how actoto operates — from the tools we build to the way we communicate with members. We believe that long-term player well-being is inseparable from business integrity, and we actively prioritize player protection over short-term revenue.
Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or solve financial problems. actoto is designed for users who can afford to lose the amounts they wager without affecting their quality of life. If you find yourself gambling to recoup losses, chasing wins, or betting money you cannot afford to lose, it is time to step back and reassess.
actoto provides full transparency into your gambling activity. Your Account dashboard displays total deposits, withdrawals, net wins/losses, session durations, and bonus wagering progress. We also provide comprehensive self-control tools — deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, reality checks, and self-exclusion — all accessible directly from your Account settings without needing to contact support.
actoto monitors gameplay patterns for signs of problematic behavior. If our systems detect concerning activity — such as rapid deposit escalation, extended session times, or high-frequency play during unusual hours — our support team may reach out to check in, offer resources, or suggest voluntary limits. These interventions are confidential, non-judgmental, and designed to help you make informed decisions about your gambling.
We believe informed players make better decisions. actoto publishes RTP data for every slot game, house edge information for table games, and detailed bonus terms in plain language. We also provide educational content on probability, variance, bankroll management, and the mathematical realities of gambling — because understanding how games work is the first step toward gambling responsibly.
Take Control
actoto provides a comprehensive suite of self-control tools designed to help you manage your gambling activity. All tools are available free of charge and can be activated or adjusted directly from your Account settings.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your actoto Account over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Once the limit is reached, you will not be able to deposit additional funds until the period resets. Deposit limits can be decreased immediately but increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period to take effect.
Set a maximum amount you are willing to lose (net loss: deposits minus withdrawals) over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. When you reach your loss limit, you will be prevented from placing further bets until the period resets. This tool helps ensure that your gambling losses remain within a predetermined, affordable range.
Set a maximum duration for each gambling session. When your session time limit is reached, you will receive a notification prompting you to take a break. You can choose to log out or continue for an additional period, but the reminder helps prevent extended, uninterrupted play that can lead to fatigue and poor decision-making.
Temporarily suspend your Account for a period of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a time-out, you will not be able to log in, deposit funds, or place bets. This tool is useful if you feel you need a short break to regain perspective or if gambling is beginning to feel stressful rather than enjoyable.
Permanently or temporarily exclude yourself from actoto for a period of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or indefinitely. Self-exclusion is a serious commitment: during the exclusion period, your Account will be locked, you will not be able to create new Accounts, and you will not receive promotional communications. Self-exclusion is irreversible until the chosen period expires.
Receive periodic in-session notifications that display how long you have been playing and your current net win/loss for the session. Reality checks are designed to interrupt prolonged play and remind you of the passage of time and money, helping you make conscious decisions about whether to continue or take a break.
To activate any of these tools, log in to your actoto Account, navigate to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming, and configure your preferred limits. Changes take effect immediately for restrictive tools (deposit limits, loss limits, self-exclusion) and after a short delay for relaxation of limits.
Recognize the Signs
Problem gambling can develop gradually and affect anyone, regardless of age, income, or background. Recognizing the warning signs early is the first step toward getting help. If you or someone you know exhibits several of the following behaviors, it may be time to seek support.
If multiple warning signs resonate with you, please consider reaching out to actoto's support team or one of the professional help organizations listed below. Acknowledging a problem is not a sign of weakness — it is a courageous first step toward regaining control of your life.
Answer the following questions honestly to assess whether your gambling habits may be becoming problematic. This is a confidential, informal self-check — not a clinical diagnosis. If your answers concern you, please seek professional guidance.
If you answered "Sometimes" or "Often" to three or more questions, you may be at risk of developing a gambling problem. We strongly encourage you to contact one of the support resources listed below or reach out to actoto's support team to discuss self-exclusion options.
Get Support
If you feel that gambling is negatively affecting your life, you are not alone. Professional help is available, confidential, and often free of charge. The organizations listed below specialize in problem gambling support and can provide counseling, treatment referrals, and recovery resources.
Gamblers Anonymous (GA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others recover from compulsive gambling. GA meetings follow a 12-step recovery program and are held regularly in major Indonesian cities including Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali.
If you are located outside Indonesia or prefer to speak with an international counselor, the National Council on Problem Gambling operates a 24/7 helpline offering confidential support, crisis intervention, and referrals to local treatment providers. Calls and text messages are free and confidential.
BeGambleAware provides free online resources, self-assessment tools, live chat support, and treatment referrals for individuals affected by problem gambling. Their website includes educational content for both gamblers and their families, as well as a directory of certified treatment providers worldwide.
GamCare offers free, confidential advice and support for anyone affected by problem gambling. Services include telephone counseling, online chat, discussion forums, and face-to-face counseling through a network of partner organizations. GamCare also provides resources for family members and friends of problem gamblers.
If you need to activate self-exclusion, adjust responsible gaming limits, or simply want to talk to someone about your concerns, actoto's customer support team is available 24/7. All conversations are confidential and non-judgmental. Our team can guide you through the self-exclusion process, suggest appropriate limit settings, and provide referrals to external support organizations.
We want every member of actoto to enjoy gambling as a fun, recreational activity. If gambling stops being fun and starts causing stress, anxiety, or financial strain, please reach out. There is no shame in asking for help, and taking a break — whether through a time-out, self-exclusion, or simply logging off for a while — is a sign of strength, not weakness. Your well-being matters more than any bet. For more information on our policies, visit our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages.
